Spend time taking in the magnificent botanic gardens of Booderee National Park, joined by Bernie McLeod and family tour guides, you will hear traditional stories of the Yuin and Dharawal Country, learn about the medicinal plants and bush foods and delve into the history and significance of the Bherwerre people of Wreck Bay. The tour features rich Indigenous Culture and outstanding views of the Yuin and Dharawal Nations of the South Coast of NSW, Australia. 

Bernie and Djungga Kultural Tours staff & family proudly encourage everyone of all cultures in being involved in walks & tours on Wandi Wandian and Dharawal people of the Yuin Nation to learn, explore & experience in the world’s oldest living culture through our eyes.

Bernie is a proud Yuin/Monaro, Kamilaroi, Wandi-Wandian and Dharawal elder with over 30 years of experience along with 9 generations of Cultural Teachings passed down through generations both pasted & present.

Bernie also has an extensive knowledge of Natural and Cultural Heritage Management through his many years of employment at Booderee National Park. Bernie is a third (3rd) generation employee of Booderee National Park where his grandfather, Father and now himself have all been employees of the

park.

DISTANCE: 0.5km – 1.3 km mostly flat ground. 


GRADE: Easy to Medium (Wheelchair and pram friendly).
